Welcome to InTents of Hope

We are a local nonprofit organization that will be sheltering anyone who finds themselves homeless. We are just beginning to undertake the task of making a difference in the lives of those who are without a home, but also for every person who is affected by homelessness. Most shelters operate within the city limits, our organization will be serving within the county. This will allow the city to conduct commerce and other vital functions needed to allow a community to thrive. 

Our solution is unique. By creating a safe, stable, fully staffed and functional tent community, we will provide relief for our homeless population and facilitate a healthier environment within our wonderful city. The tent community will provide shelter, food, clothing, medical and mental health care, as needed, to residents. Our goal is to transition each person back into a sustainable lifestyle within a time frame that works for their individual needs and abilities. 

We will work with government agencies, organizations with a similar vision, and volunteers to achieve a successful outcome for everyone. A vital aspect of our community will be oversight and protection by law enforcement. We seek to work with our city and county government to ensure that there will be an adequate number of officers for the size of the tent community. This will provide safety for the residents, our officers and everyone within the surrounding communities.
